These terms govern your use of the RoamWise app on iPhone and on Android (the "app"). RoamWise is operated by Buckshot Digital Sales Inc. ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
RoamWise is a planning aid that counts the days you spend in a zone such as the Schengen Area, using the trips you enter. It is not legal, immigration, or tax advice. Day counts are estimates based only on what you enter. Border officers, courts, and tax authorities apply the actual rules, and those rules can change and can differ from our simplified model. You are responsible for checking your own compliance against official sources before you travel. The in-app Sources and disclaimer screen lists them, and the Schengen count can be cross-checked with the European Commission official short-stay calculator.
RoamWise is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the European Union, the Schengen states, the United Kingdom, the United States, or any other government or immigration authority. The additional zones available in Pro (UK visitor days, 183-day tax residency) are labeled planning guidelines, not official calculators.
Your trips are stored on your device. There is no RoamWise account and no RoamWise server that receives your travel data. See the Privacy Policy for details. You can export your trips to CSV at any time and erase everything from within the app.
The core Schengen 90/180 calculation for one traveler, the trip log, days remaining, longest stay if you enter today, the forward projection, and CSV export are free. RoamWise Pro unlocks extra features such as additional zones, the trip planner, multiple travelers and passports, and the all-zones widget. Features can be adjusted over time, but the free core calculator is not a trial and is not meant to be withdrawn.
Pro is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, as supplied by the store. All purchases are processed by the store you use, not by us: the Apple App Store on iPhone, or Google Play on Android. We never see your payment details.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
The lifetime option is a single payment with no renewal. It unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered, on the account that bought it, and can be restored with Restore purchases.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. On Android, see the Google Play refund policy and request refunds through Google Play. On iPhone, request refunds through Apple. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves, but write to us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
On iPhone, your use of the app is also subject to the Apple standard End User License Agreement. On Android, purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. If these terms conflict with the store terms on a store matter such as billing, the store terms apply to that matter.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own travel planning. Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the app, or use it to present counts to authorities as an official record.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to count correctly, but we do not warrant that the app is error free, that its counts are accurate for your situation, or that it will be available without interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buckshot Digital Sales Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the app's day counts, including refused entry, fines, overstay penalties, visa or tax consequences, or missed or changed trips. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law where you live.
We may update these terms and the app. The current version is always at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
