Your travel is your business. RoamWise is built so that we never see your data at all. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. RoamWise has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
RoamWise does not use your location. Trips are entered by hand. The app never reads GPS, never runs in the background to follow you, and never scans your photos. A border stamp is ground truth; we do not want or need your location.
Everything you enter in RoamWise (your trips, passports, and notes) is stored on your device. If iCloud is available, your data is also stored in your personal, private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to it.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple, through your App Store account. We receive no payment details, and you can cancel anytime in iOS Settings.
You can export your full trip history as CSV at any time from Settings, free, and erase everything by deleting the app (and removing RoamWise data from iCloud in iOS Settings).
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
